I was treated very well from the moment I arrived. The concierge was the first to great me and from the start treated me as a long lost friend. My room was great. Very clean and large enough to not feel too cramped. The sweet lady that cleaned my room each day was always kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. Not as grandiose as some hotels and certainly much better than most. As an American, the bathtub is quite different. It’s a tall step up and always a bit awkward in and out of the tub. But it was clean and had great water pressure. The only thing I would change is the free bottle of water… we get one on the arrival day but none of the other days. I would have appreciated a bottle each day. Otherwise, I’d say everything was great!

This was my second stay and unfortunately i had to request a room change as the room provided did not meet the needs of two friends staying in a twin. It was a corner room and there was only one arm chair to sit on and anyone sitting in it would have to get up to let the other person get to their bed...no opportunity for two to enjoy a time together seated. Very different to my previous experience. I did request a room change which was well accommodated but given i had shared high praise and confidence from my previous stay things did not work out so well. There was no milk in our tray but that was quickly rectified following my call to reception.

Best hotel I've stayed in in London yet. Beautiful rooms, excellent location and the staff couldn't be more helpful or accommodating, even when sorely tested.

Absolutely enormous rooms and beds!!

The staff made everything easier - offering directions, helping to book excursions. I just wish I had had time to visit the spa. And the location was so convenient. I wish the water had been more visible. I didn't notice it or the fridge until after I had made a middle of the night visit to the lobby. Close to South Kensington Station and a direct line to Heathrow. The Victoria & Albert is literally right across the street. The breakfast was plentiful but I can't get used to the English breakfast😆 My cosmopolitan was delicious

HAVE STAYED AT HOTEL ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND ENJOY HOLIDAYING THERE WHILST IN LONDON. GREAT POSITION CLOSE TO PARKS AND SHOPPING VERY NICE HAD BEEN REFURBISHED CLOSE TO ALL AMENITIES GREAT REFURBISHED ROOM

Surprisingly pleasant, quiet and spacious room with superb location at a very reasonable price in an area where I have previously been disappointed by the quality of hotel rooms. Breakfast was faultless and the staff were all very professional.

I stayed here last year and thought it a bit 1980s and outdated , tired and old. We love the Buffett and the location, Staff are outstanding..not sure we will come back though outside room 233 on the road there is a loose manhole cover and it makes a loud noise all night long as cars pass over it. Maybe the city needs to know and do something. Good strong wifi Bar man was a bit rude asking for a tip after serving us our welcome drinks Bit old and tired Very convenient to south Kensington station short two min all to hotel Lots to f busses to Oxford street and other parts of London Excellent Buffett and bar food Clean rooms and bathrooms

I’ve stayed several times in the hotel and if I’ve kept on coming back, it has been because I’ve liked the way the hotel has treated me. None of the perks that I was offered when I made reservation were give at full when I got to the hotel. I couldn’t get in upgrade of my room; my late check out was limited to only 1 more hour and even the complementary drink was given to me (1) whilst we were two people staying in the room. In the past I’ve got two drinks as part of the offer.

The hotel was clean and the rooms surprisingly spacy., Good beds and a clean bathroom & tub. The breakfast was fairly traditional, also gluten free bread available, the rest had to be checked with the staff. A short walk to the South Kensington tube. It was interesting to see that you had both fried eggs and scrambled eggs but not boiled eggs. We received those when requesting, but at both times it was a bit disappointment. When requesting ”medium” boiled eggs they were really soft and hardly cooked. Learned from this and on the following morning requested ” hard” boiled eggs, and they realle were hard and dey. Different waiters made them, so their understanding of ”medium” and ” hard” seem to differ. Why don’t you simply boil eggs in the kitchen by chefs and label them ” 3 minutes”, ”7 minutes., for example.

The property itself was wonderful. The staff will all excellent, every one of them. I always was greeted upon arrival. The concierge was great when needed. The only complaint is with the bathroom. It could use more shelves inside the shower itself and a fan in the bathroom may be impossible to add but would be great.
