1606 Lounge Bar
With its comfy sofas and armchairs and its crackling fire in winter, 1606 Lounge Bar is a cosy space for light meals, snacks and cocktails throughout the day and evening.
Morning coffee
Original wood panelling, columns and ornate ceilings create a traditional, warm feel – an ideal setting for a morning coffee meeting or a light lunch after visiting the V&A Museum.
The Rembrandt’s traditional Afternoon Tea, served daily between 12pm and 6.30pm, is a chance to indulge in delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry jam, mini cakes and freshly brewed tea or coffee.
After-work drinks
In the evening, friends and colleagues gather around the bar to share drinks and snacks. You can check the latest news and watch major sporting events on wide-screen TVs.
Bookings and opening hours
Palette Restaurant and 1606 Lounge Bar are open daily from 12pm to 10pm. During quiet times, food will be served only in 1606 Lounge Bar.
