Our chef will work with you to choose the perfect menu for your wedding reception. Special diets are no problem with advance notice, and we cater for children.

Canapé reception menu

    (From the hot and cold selections please choose 4 per person.)

Cold options

  • Smoked salmon and sour cream blinis
  • Mini Mediterranean vegetable gâteau
  • Pastrami and gherkin roll
  • Smoked chicken and apricot tartlets
  • Mini prawn cocktail in savoury tart

Hot options

  • Mini spicy chicken kebabs
  • Warm smoked salmon tartare on rye bread
  • Tiger prawns wrapped in Parma ham
  • Goat’s cheese and sun-dried tomato fritters
  • Homemade vegetable wonton

Children

Children aged four and under eat for free from a children’s menu. Kids aged 5 to 12 are half price and may eat from the adult menu. A soft drink is included.

Starters

  • White and green asparagus salad, dandelion, pecorino cheese and balsamic glaze
  • Peppered smoked duck breast presented with home made quince chutney
  • A warm tartlet of wild mushroom duxelle, topped with sautéed tiger prawns and lemon hollandaise

Main affair

  • Pan fried supreme of chicken, braised baby leeks, black pudding and cordon of jus
  • Roast loin of lamb filled with garlic and tarragon mousse served with Marsala sauce
  • 8oz sirloin steak ‘Medici’ with creamy mustard, shallots, green peppercorn sauce garnished with crispy Parma ham
  • Vegetable ‘paella’ – a selection of fresh Mediterranean vegetables cooked with saffron rice, finished with olive oil and sun-blushed tomatoes

Sweet things

  • Mango and passion fruit cheesecake served with duo of fruit coulis
  • Bitter chocolate tart with blood orange crème anglaise
  • Raspberry roulade with white chocolate sauce
