Public Transport

The closest London Underground (Tube) station is South Kensington, a five-minute walk away. From here, you can take the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines to anywhere in London. Ask our concierge for a map of central London, which includes a Tube map. The concierge can also advise on local buses.

Or you could take a Boris Bike! This bike-sharing scheme, officially known as Santander Cycle Hire, has public bike stations at South Kensington station and the Brompton Oratory.

The Heathrow Express runs every 15 minutes between Heathrow Airport and Paddington Station with a journey time of 15 minutes. From Paddington, a Circle or District line train will take you to South Kensington. Alternatively, the Piccadilly line runs straight from Heathrow Airport to South Kensington Tube Station, with a journey time of approximately one hour.

For Gatwick Airport, catch the Gatwick Express at Victoria Station. Trains run every 15 minutes with a journey time of 30 minutes. Victoria Station is just two stops away on the District and Circle lines from South Kensington.
