Summer has finally arrived in London, and whilst we are all enjoying the sunshine and warm weather, some incredible bands and artists are preparing to take to various stages across the capital. With so many music festivals in London on the line up this Summer, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. If you want to spend your Summer dancing the night away to some of the best live acts and DJs in the world, then London is the city for you this year. The 2019 festival line up might have already started, but there are so many music festivals in London left for the rest of the Summer. Lovebox

This incredible festival is returning to London this Summer at Gunnersbury Park, and has a much-anticipated line up once again. Taking place on 12th and 13th July 2019, Lovebox boasts some big names such as Solange, Chance The Rapper, 2 Chainz, Annie Mac, and J Hus as a UK festival exclusive. Even with the event just days away, tickets for Lovebox are still available online and start from just £62.50. Gates open at 2pm on Friday, with last entry at 8pm, and open at 12pm on Saturday. Throughout the weekend there will be local traders serving a delicious range of food and drink, including Patty & Bun, Tiger Biters and Yorkshire Burrito.

Wireless

Opening its doors today is one of the most anticipated music festivals in London; Wireless. Perfect for music fans who aren’t into camping, this festival takes place at London’s Finsbury Park is sure to be a weekend to remember. Every year the line-up gets better and better, and this year incredible urban, pop and rap artists will be gracing the stage. Big names set to excite the crowds this weekend are Cardi B, Tyga, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, as well as some secret special guests.

BST Hyde Park

This weekend is a big date for music festivals in London, with BST Hyde Park also opening its gates today for five days of amazing music and good times, as well as four days of Open House. British Summer Time sees plenty of famous faces head to London’s biggest park every year, and 2019 is no different. Tonight, Celine Dion will be wowing the crowds, followed by Stevie Wonder on Saturday 6th, Barbara Streisand on Sunday 7th, Florence & The Machine on the 13th and a grand finale by Robbie Williams on Sunday 14th.

Plenty of special guests will be joining these headliners throughout the event, making for over a week packed full of amazing live music. Open House will be taking place from Monday 8th to Thursday 11th and is four days of completely free Summer activities in Hyde Park. There will be free outdoor movie nights, live music and entertainment. Even if you don’t have a ticket to music festivals in London this Summer, you can still join in the fun.

Citadel

Following on from Lovebox in Gunnersbury Park, Citadel Festival will be taking place on Sunday 14th July to keep the weekend going. With Bastille and Catfish and the Bottlemen as the two key headliners this year, it is sure to be an event to remember. Offering the perfect soundtrack to your Sunday, Citadel is sure to be a chilled day of great live acts, delicious food and various talks and debates designed to inspire. The Science Museum will be holding a journey into cyberspace with various workshops, and there will be a comedy special from Sunday Papers Live. Fitness fanatics can join in with mass yoga with Stretch, or space yoga from the UK Space Agency.
