New Year’s Eve 2016 in London

December 31st is fast approaching, and London is without a doubt one of the best places to celebrate New Year’s Eve. If you don’t have any plans for the big night yet, then don’t panic! Some of London’s biggest events are already sold out, including the famous New Year’s Eve Fireworks, but we have found some of the best events in the capital that still have some space available:

New Year’s Eve in the Sky

Welcome in 2017 with spectacular 360 views across the capital at Sky Bar. Live cooking stations will be serving complimentary food from around the world, alongside one of the best views of the UK’s largest firework display. The 300 seat private cinema will be showing children’s favourites, Frozen and The Jungle Book, during the day. Head over to their website today and enter the prize draw for the chance to win free VIP tickets to the event!

A Vintage New Year’s Eve Party

Southbank Centre’s New Year’s Party is definitely an event not to be missed! Spreading over 5 floors in the Royal Festival Hall and celebrating decades past, from the roaring 1920’s right up to the 1990’s. There will be expert dance tutors to teach you some moves in the Let It Rock Club, entertainment from the 30’s and 40’s in The Torch, and the chance to boogie to some 70’s and 80’s funk and disco in The Studio.

Last Dance with Dippy

Countdown the final hours of 2016 at the Natural History Museum! The Museum is holding a unique New Year’s Eve party in the iconic Hintze Hall, where you can enjoy a free drink and dance the night away with Dippy the Dinosaur. The Dinosaur’s Gallery will also be open on the night if you want to escape the crowds.

Loose & Lippy Speakeasy

ICEBAR London is hosting a spectacular speakeasy themed night, where you can escape to the glitz and glamour of the 1920’s. There will be excellent entertainment, a brilliant collection of eclectic festive music and delicious cocktails. For just £95 per person, you can enjoy a 4 course dining experience and entry to the ICEBAR’s countdown session at 23.45.

SushiSamba’s Réveillon

Spend the New Year on the highest outdoor dining terrace in Europe, at SushiSamba’s Réveillon party. The event will be a Brazilian inspired celebration, featuring a band, DJs and Samba dancers. The dress code is all-white, and with a starting price of £200 per person, you can expect some exquisite food.

PizzaBuzz Bottomless Booze

For a more affordable New Year’s Eve dinner, head over to PizzaBuzz in Finsbury Square. They will be offering a 12” Pizza and dessert, 90 minutes of bottomless booze, as well as a dance floor open until 2am – all for only £34.95!

There is plenty to choose from in London this New Year, but whatever you choose, make sure you book fast to avoid disappointment! After all the excitement (and drinking!) on 31st December, why not cure your hangover with some delicious food in The Rembrandt’s 1606 Lounge Bar? You can enjoy a Homemade Beef Burger by the roaring fire, or opt for something more elegant and start the New Year with a Champagne High Tea.
