Night Porter

Being in a customer-facing role means you are a confident and well presented individual with a warm way with people. What will I be doing as Night Porter?

  • Tidying up after late functions and cleaning meeting rooms
  • Setting up tables and chairs etc. for meetings the following day
  • Offering a polite and efficient service of food and drinks to rooms and a Late Bar service
  • Carrying out Security Patrol checks thus safeguarding the property and guests therein
  • Checking and accepting small deliveries during the night
  • Manning the front hall and offer an efficient porterage service, answer the telephone and take messages
  • Working 40 hours per week, working 5 nights out of 7 on a rota including weekends

As Night Porter you will have:

  • Previous experience in a guest facing role, ideally in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to converse and write English to a good standard
  • Smart in appearance
  • Good health and fitness and able to lift and carry guest luggage and move tables, chairs etc.
  • Previous experience of food and drink service an advantage
