More Christmas Fun in London
Hyde Park is transformed into London’s Winter Wonderland from 21st November till 4th January with a variety of attractions including fairground rides, Santa’s grotto, a giant Observation Wheel and not one, but two Circus’; a Christmas Circus and Cirque Berserk presented by the famous Zippos Circus.
Show off your skills on the biggest outdoor ice rink in the UK and probably one of the most well decorated with more than 100,000 lights. Continuing your festive weekend, the White Christmas Fair takes place in Battersea between 6th and 7th December. Hand-made gifts, cards and wreaths can be purchased along with lots of home-made seasonal goodies to stock up your festive cupboards, and if you are partial to a drop of whisky then the London Distillery Company are offering tastings and tours. Christmas comes to Belgravia between 4th and 7th December, starting off with late night shopping in Motcomb Street on 4th December where you can leisurely browse until 8.30pm whilst being entertained by the Holland Park Opera Singers. Saturday brings sleigh rides, Santa’s grotto and a petting zoo to Belgrave Square Gardens. On Sunday Elizabeth Street is the host to over 60 stalls full of seasonal gifts and fayre. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
